UNB, Dhaka :Two hattricks by Roja Devi and Anushka Samuels helped India U-16 Women’s team to notch a stunning 12-0 victory over UAE in the group B match of the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers at Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Tuesday.In the day’s match, forward Roja Devi made hatrrick scoring four goals in the 24th, 69th, 75th and 92nd minutes while substitute forward Anushka Samuels made the other hattrick, also with four goals in the 72nd, 76th, 80th and 82nd minutes. Sushmita Bardhan scored two goals in the 4th and 57th minutes while Premi Chiru and Jabamanu Tudu netted one goal each in the 7th and in the 67th minute respectively. With the day’s highest margin victory of the tournament, India tasted their 2nd successive win as they beat host Bangladesh 2-1 in the 2nd match while lost to Iran 1-2 in the 1st match. Meanwhile, UAE also lost all their earlier matches beaten 9-0 by Iran, 6-0 by Bangladesh and 8-1 by Jordan to finish their AFC U-16 Championship Qualifiers campaign.
