India returns Bangladeshi woman

A missing woman was sent back to Bangladesh from India after 17 months through Sonamasjid frontier on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman is identified as Salina Bibi, 25, daughter of Suruj Mia of Panchapara village under Laksham upazila of Comilla district.
Advocate Yasmin Ara Khushi, Chapainawabganj district representative of Jatyo Mahila Ayeenjibi Samity said, Indian immigration police handed her over to the BangladeshI immigration police in presence of BGB and BSF at 12-30 pm. Salina would be returned to her family from the Dhaka office of the samity, she added.
She further added that about 17 months ago Salina lost mental balance and went missing as she went to bathe in the river. After detaining her in their territory, BSF handed her over to the Indian police and police sent her to the Maldah district safe home.
