India offers scholarships for studying traditional medicines

India has offered scholarships for meritorious Bangladeshi students under and post-graduate students and PhD researchers to undertake studies in traditional systems of medicines like Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy, says a press release of Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
The release said that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) offered the scholarship for meritorious Bangladeshi students to pursue the studies at India’s National institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur, National Institute of Unani Medicine in Bangalore and National Institute of Homoeopathy in Kolkata.
The scholarships would be offered for the academic year 2015-2016 and suggested intended students to download the application forms from the High Commission’s website www.hcidhaka.gov.in.
Candidates have been requested to submit six copies of filled up application forms along with certificates of educational qualifications attested by Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs ministry and submit those in persons to education attache, at the Education Wing of the High Commission.
Candidates are required to present their original certificates for verification at the time of submission of their application forms. The filled up application forms will be accepted from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on all working days till 26 this month.
