India B emerge unbeaten champions

India B team emerged unbeaten champions of the three-nation Special Olympics South Asia Unified Cricket Tournament beating Bangladesh B team at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in Savar on Sunday.
The win came with one match remaining.
Sent to bat first, Bangladesh B team scored average 48/7=6.8 runs in 10 overs. In reply, India B team scored average 28/2=14 runs also in 10 overs.
Bangladesh B team (scored average 84/6=14 runs in 10 overs) won the runners-up trophy beating Bangladseh A team (scored average 37/0=37 runs in 10 overs).
Earlier, Bangladesh A team (average 102/1 = 102 runs in 10 overs) beat India A team (average 74/6 = 10.60 runs).
The day’s last match, India B team (average 98/3=32.66 runs in 10 overs) defeated India A team (average 82/8= 10.02 runs in 10 overs).
The day’s rain interrupted matches were reduced to 10 overs from scheduled 20 overs because of morning rain.
BKSP director general Brig Gen Md Emdadul Haque NDC distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Founder chairman of the Special Olympics Bangladesh Ashraf Dawla was present as the special guest.
