The Walton Smart TV Independence Day Volleyball Tournament begins today at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium.
Bangladesh Volleyball Federation has arranged the three-day long volleyball competition under auspices of Walton Microtech Corporation.
A total of nine teams are taking part in the volleyball competition. They are: Bangladesh Power Development Board, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Navy, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Jail team, Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP.
The budget of the tournament is Tk 1,70, 000.
Regarding the ensuing volleyball competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of National Sports Council Tower on Sunday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Ashiqur Rahman Miku, First Senior Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Advocate Fazle Rabbi Babul and AGM of RB Group Mehrab Hossain Asif were present at the conference.
