Two matches of the Minister Independence Day Volleyball were decided on Tuesday at the Volleyball Stadium in the city.
On the opening day’s matches, Bangladesh Army beat Power Development Board 25-23, 25-23 and 35-14 while Titas Gas defeated Border Guard Bangladesh 25-15, 25-14 and 25-24.
Earlier, competition sponsor My One Electronic Industries Limited chairman Abdur Razzak Khan inaugurated the four-day meet as the chief guest.
Participating teams: Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Border Guard Bangladesh, Titas Gas and Bangladesh Power Development Board.
