The Independence Day marathon will be held on Friday (April 7) at 7 am in the city, said a press release.
Marking the Independence Day, the marathon to be participated by athletes, sports lovers, sports organisers and People from different walks in life will begin at Army Stadium and conclude Bangabandhu National Stadium after passing through Mohakhali rail crossing, Jahangir gate, Firmgate, Shahbagh, Doyel Chattar Secretariats and zero point.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder is expected to present in the marathon as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy, NRB Commercial Bank Chairman Engineer Farasat Ali will present as special guests.
