Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Police recorded wins in their respective matches of the Independence Cup Handball Competition on Sunday.
In the day’s first match, BGB beat Bangladesh Ansar by 31-25 goals after finishing the first half with a 14-10 goals lead at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Imdadul of BGB scored nine goals while Jabir of Bangladesh Ansar netted seven goals.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Police defeated Quantum Sportiam by 36-17 goals after completing the first session with a 19-10 goals lead at the same venue.
Kader of Bangladesh Police scored nine goals while Lalrikom and Quamruzzaman of Quantum Sportiam netted four goals each.
