The Independence Cup Football will begin after the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football will conclude on January 13 next year.
The decision was taken at the professional league committee’s meeting held on Thursday at board room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) with its chairman and BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy in the chair.
Twelve teams participating in the professional football league will take part in the tournament.
The meeting also discussed to arrange a tournament with the U-18 teams of the teams participating in the professional football league.
However the decision will be taken with this issue in the next meeting.
