State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid on Saturday stressed the need for using modern technology at all spheres of development to build an environment friendly Bangladesh.
“The modern technology would save both of our time and money,” he said this on Saturday while inaugurating “Digital innovation and Branding Fail-2017” at Shishu Academy in the city.
The state minister said, “We have to take initiative for attracting young generations in innovative works and we have special grants to expand IT start-up initiatives IDEA (Innovation Design & Entrepreneurship Academy).”
He said the government has undertaken programmes to increase connectivity with each other by supplying electricity to house to house for building a developed Bangladesh, which would be implemented within the schedule time.
Welcoming the initiative for “Solve -A-Thon” competition to search young innovators, Nasrul said the new generation is very talented and a little care could turn them as golden children.
Educational institutions and offices from 13 districts of Dhaka division would display the innovative activities through 50 stalls in the three days long fair.
