Inclusion of undergraduate courses in govt colleges demanded

Teachers and students of the Public Administration Department of Chittagong University (CU) formed a human chain demanding the inclusion of undergraduate courses in government colleges across the country, and enroll their degree under the education cadre in the upcoming Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination.
The human chain was held in front of the of the Social Science Faculty at around 12:30 pm on Wednesday and later a signature program was also held in the seminar of the department.
Mohammad Morshedul Haque, Mohammad Rezaul Karim, Assistant Professor along with Momtaj Uddin,associate professor of CU Public Administration Department, and more than 200 students of the department were present at the human chain.
Assistant Professor Mohammad Rezaul Karim said that for a long time, the Public Administration course has been started in different universities and thousands of students are passing out every year. They are also doing job in various high posts of the government. But government yet to launch BCS education cadre , the students of this department are being deprived . So, to include education cadre in BCS,all universities of Bangladesh jointly organized human chain and signature program.
