Daffodil -Japan Institute of Technology (DJIT) has announced its formal opening at BDBL Bhaban, Karwan Bazar in the capital on Thursday. Md. Sabur Khan, chairman of Daffodil Group, inaugurated the institute while Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Executive Director and Rathindra Nath Das, Director of Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) and Toru Okazaki, Managing Director, Bangla Business Partners, Japan were present on the occasion.
Others distinguished high officials of Daffodil Group were present at the ceremony.
DIJT has been established as a joint venture institute to train Bangladeshi young talents at the international level and to make them capable of working in Japan and other international ICT sector.
Norio Murakami, former Vice president of Google, USA, Sagio Kijaki, former Director of IBM Consulting and Chairman of Daffodil group Md. Sabur Khan are shareholders and in the managing committee of Daffodil Japan Institute of Technology.
