The inaugural ceremony of the 38th BCS Audit and Accounts Cadre Officers’ Departmental Training Course was held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Auditorium of the Financial Management Academy (FIMA). Mr. Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh was present as the ‘Chief Guest’ on the occasion. Mr. Abdur Rauf Talukder, Senior Secretary, Finance Division was present as the ‘Guest of Honor’. The ceremony begins with the recitation from the Holy Quran.
Mr. Abdur Rauf Talukder, Senior Secretary, Finance Division, said in his remarks, “He wants two things from the 38th newly appointed BCS Audit and Accounts Cadre; The first is service delivery. The second is how to get people to their doorsteps and build themselves up to that goal. Hon’ble Comptroller and Auditor General Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury in his address to the newly appointed Cadre Officers said, “There is no question about eligibility. However, they need to acquire professional knowledge and skills through FIMA training. Only then it will be possible to ensure proper use of their talents. “
Mr. Mst. Mahbuba Begum, Director Training, FIMA, delivered the welcome address on the occasion. Mr. Nasrin Sultana Proma spoke on behalf of the 38th BCS Audit and Accounts Cadre Officers. Honorary mementos were presented to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor.
The inaugural function was presided over by Mr. Fahmida Islam, Director General of FIMA and was attended by senior officials of the Audit and Accounts Department and FIMA faculty.
