Ranibala Tripura has got a beautiful semi-finished house and land at Kailashpara in Ramgarh as an Eid gift from the Prime Minister. He was overjoyed to find such a dream house. He expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of the extremely poor homeless Ranibala.
In Ramgarh Upazila of Khagrachhari like Ranibala Tripura , a total of 77 homeless families got houses and land in the first phase of the third phase under Asrayan Project 2 as Eid gift of the Prime Minister on the occasion of Mujib Year. The house and land deeds were officially handed over on Tuesday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was virtually present at the inauguration ceremony.
Khagrachhari Pabartya Zilla Parishad Chairman Mongsuipru Chowdhury Apu was present as the chief guest at the handover ceremony of house and land deeds held at Ramgarh Upazila Conference Room on Tuesday. Besides, Ramgarh Upazila Chairman Bishwa Pradeep Kumar Karbari, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Khandaker Md. Ikhtiyar Uddin Arafat, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Umme Habiba Majumder, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Samsuzzaman, Former Upazila Muktijoddha Commander Bir Muktijoddha Mofizur Rahman, Awami League President Md Mostafa Hossain, General Secretary and Patachhara Union Parishad Chairman Kazi Nurul Alam Officials of various government and non-government departments, political and social leaders, people’s representatives and local journalists were present.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Khandaker Ikhtiyar Uddin Arafat said, that the poor, helpless and destitute people are usually given clothes and food items on the occasion of Eid. This time the Prime Minister has taken an exceptional initiative to share the joy of Eid with all. Ahead of Eid, 32,904 landless, homeless and helpless families across the country have been handed over as Eid gifts a two-room semi-paved house built on 2 hundred acres of land with land deeds. He said, that in the first phase of the third phase under Asrayan Project 2, 77 out of 150 houses in Ramgarh have been handed over to the beneficiaries on April 26. Earlier, in the first and second phase, house keys and documents were handed over among 193 families in Ramgarh upazila.
