Imrul highest run-getter in Bangladesh-Zimbabwe ODI series

Opener Imrul Kayes emerged as highest run getter in the just concluded Bangladesh-Zimbabwe three-match ODI series that ended on Friday.
The left handed batsman Imrul scored 349 runs from three matches including two centuries and one half century with an average of 116.33 while Zimbabwe batsman Sean Williams was the second highest run getter making 226 runs from three matches including a century and a half century with an impressive average of 226.00.
Another Zimbabwe batsman Brendon Tailor become the third highest run getter in the series scoring 155 from three matches including two half centuries with an average of 51.66 while Bangladeshi batsman Soumya Sarkar was the fourth highest run getter making 117 from one match with an average of 127.17.
On the other hand, Imrul Kayes also emerged as top scorer in the series with 144 runs while Zimbabwe batsman Sean Williams followed him with an unbeaten 129. Soumya Sarkar finished third highest scorer with 117 runs while Imrul Kayes become the fourth highest scorer in the series with 115 runs.
The southpaw opener Imrul and Soumya Sarkar also hit most sixes in an innings with six sixes each. The duo also shared highest 220-run second wicket partnership in the third ODI while Liton Das and Imrul Kayes shared second highest 148 runs first wicket partnership in the second ODI.
Brendon Taylor and Sean Williams shared the third highest partnership with 132 runs for Zimbabwe in the third ODI while Imrul Kayes and Mohammad Saifuddin added fourth highest 127-run seventh wicket partnership for Bangladesh in the first ODI.
Zimbabwean Kyle Jarvis emerged as the highest wicket taker in the series taking five wickets from three matches with an average of 23.00 while Mehedy Hasan Miraz following Jarvis with four wickets from two matches with an average of 22.75.
Mohammad Saifuddin and Nazmul Islam and Zimbabwean Tendai Chatara also grabbed four wickets to finished his third, fourth and fifth highest wicket taker respectively.
Kyle Jarvis also produced the best bowling figure in an innings with four wickets giving away 37 runs from nine overs while Sikandar Raza finished behind Jarvis with three wickets in an innings giving away 43 runs from 10 overs.
Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Zimbabwean Tendai Chatara all took three wickets apiece in an innings to finish third, fourth and fifth position respectively.
Zimbabwean wicket keeper Brendon Taylor made the most dismissal behind the wicket with six dismissals including five catches and one stamping from three matches. His made five dismissals in an innings.
Bangladesh Mushfiqur Rahim made five dismissals behind the wicket with five catches. He also made three dismissal in an innings.

Zimbabean Elton Chigumbura took the highest two catches from three matches while Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Donald Tiripano also took two catches each to finish second and third position respectively.
Bangladesh scored highest total of 288 for 3 in the third ODI against Zimbabwe in the series while Zimbabwe scored the second highest total of 286 for 5 in the same match.
Bangladesh scored the third highest team total of 271 for 8 in the first ODI in Dhaka while Zimbabwe scored the fourth highest team’s total of 250 for 3 in the second ODI in Chattogram.
