I give thanks to my family members including my parents and husband Gohin to co-operate and also gave me support a lot. Meanwhile, who had selected me as Best Singer I give also thanks to them. After getting the award, my responsibility has been increased. In future, I will render playback songs more carefully. I give cordial thanks to Chayanika Chowdhury’s full team of movie Bishwoshundori. Everybody prays for me.”
“Getting National Film Award is recognition for every singer. It is really a likeable matter for me because for the first time I got the National Film Awards in two categories at a time. Singer of the playback song Kona Apu and lyricist Kabir Bakul Bhai also got the award. For this reason, I am very much delighted in this regard. I have cordial thanks to the full unit of Bishwoshundori movie. I am delighted to get the awards. I have wished to do better works in future. I will try to continue my present performance. If my father is alive, he would really feel proud of me. So, I have dedicated my awards to my father. My new song titled Tomar-e Achhi is scheduled to be released in coming Eid-ul-Fitr. Sabila Nur performed as model along with me in the song, which lyrics were written by Kabir Bakul. I have composed its music,” Imran said.
On the other hand, Kona said that on Thursday she performed in a stage show, said the singer.
