Impulse Hospital’s doctor dies from coronavirus

Another doctor who was practicing in Impulse Hospital in Dhaka has died after contracting COVID-19.
His death has raised the body count among doctors to 27.
“Dr Jalilur Rahman Khan, was working as a senior consultant in anaesthesiology department of the hospital, passed away in hospital care at 4:30pm on Tuesday,” Dr Rahat Anwar Chowdhury, Joint Secretary of Foundation for Doctors Safety Rights and Responsibilities told journalists.
Dr. Jalil infected during his duty to provide medical services at the hospital, Dr Rahat Anwar said.
According to Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), as many as 957 doctors have been infected with the virus so far.
