High officials of Pubali Bank Limited (PBL) at a workshop here have stressed for further improving client services to uphold the tradition, glory, people’s trust and confidence on the ancient bank of the country.
Rangpur Regional Office of PBL organised the workshop on ‘Ethical Banking, Small & Medium Enterprise (SME), Enterprise Risk management (ERM), Green Banking, Internal Control & Compliance (ICC), Anti Money Laundering (AML), Credit Risk Management (CRM) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) at ASOD Training Centre here on Saturday.
Deputy General Manager (DGM), DCAMLCO & Head of the Compliance Division of PBL from its Head Office Nitish Kumar Roy attended the workshop as the chief guest and Coordinator with its DGM for Rangpur Region Hari Bhushan Deb in the chair.
Assistant Director of Rangpur Branch of Bangladesh bank (BB) Raihan Reza attended as the main resource person and delivered the keynote presentation on the tropics of the workshop.
The Branch Managers, Advance Officers and Dealing Officers involved with opening new bank accounts of the bank from all over Rangpur division participated in the day-long workshop.
The workshop was organised for further improving skill of the bankers, client services and expediting its activities with efficient management to achieve the fixed business indexes during the current fiscal and accelerate economic developments of the region.
The chief guest asked the field level officials for conducting professional activities with utmost sincerity and dedication considering the clients as partners of the bank to boost economic activities through turning PBL self-reliance to take the nation ahead.
