The import and export activities will remain suspended for five days from today (Wednesday) through Hili Land Port (HLP) under Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul- Azha, official sources said.
According to the sources in Customs, importers, clearing and forwarding agents association (C&FAA) at HLP, all sorts of import-export activities will remain suspended through the land port from September 23 to 27.
Talking to BSS, General Secretary of C&FAA of HLP Abdur Rahman Litan said the imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the goods will resume through the land port from September 28.
However, movements of the passport and visa holder citizens will remain normal through the Immigration Check Post (ICP) at HLP during the period despite closure of import and export activities there, Officer-in-Charge Rafikuzzaman of the ICP said.
