The Consumer. Association of Bangladesh( CAB) in Kishoreganj said that the government is trying to reduce energy costs through controlled load shedding, i.e. to be cost effective. It cannot be called good. Meanwhile, the price of fuel increased. Now the suffering will be more extreme. It will affect everything. The life of the common man will become more prosperous.
CAB in Kishoreganj President Alam Sarowar Tito, Executive President Adv Maya Bhowmick and General Secretary Monowar Hossein Rony in a joint statement said that, due to increase in fuel prices, the price of all goods may go up again. Common consumers will suffer more. Especially low and lower-middle income people will suffer. It will affect everything in the industrial production, transportation sector. This can have a massive negative impact. Meanwhile, the price of the dollar is increasing. As a result, the price of imported fuel is falling further in takas. Crisis is all around now. In fact, the government should see whether the economic management is being done properly or not.
Kisjoreganj ‘s CAB president Alam Sarowar Tito also said that earlier the government had increased the price of diesel and kerosene. Then it was seen that the price of everything has increased. The transport sector is particularly affected. Apart from this, the prices of all other things have also increased.
Now increasing the price of fuel will naturally increase the suffering. However, it is also true that the price of fuel has increased a lot in the world market. Because of this, the amount of government subsidy may have increased. The way the government increased the prices, it was not right.
