A general meeting of Hajj Pilgrims Welfare council(HPWC) was held at a city hotel recently with its president Ahmedul Islam Chowdhury in the chair.
The meeting demanded immediate publication of Hajj policy for 2016 by the govt. The meeting was told that the govt approved Hajj agents are randomly conducted publicity of Hajj programmes for 2016 and arranging get together, assembly and rich entertainments with lunch or dinner in different community halls in the city from last one month.
It is learnt that a number of hajj aspirants also deposited the first installment money to the concerned agents in the meantime.
In this context , immediate announcement of hajj police is essential for the welfare of both hajj pilgrims and agents. The speakers in the meeting urged the govt to take care against indiscipline of hajj bookings and air flights so happened in last hajj season .
If necessary , the matter of Hajj policy should be discussed with the Saudi counterpart. Secretary general of HPWC Principal Dr.Abdul Karim delivered address of welcome in the meet duly conducted by Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman.

Sharif, Jamiruddin chowdhry,Ahmed Hossain chowdhury, Md.l Abdus Salam chowdhry, Hakim Mohammadullah, Alhaj Kamaluddin,Alhaj Md. Hossain, Adv. Md. Samiuddin, Md.
