Customs Intelligence on Wednesday recovered a BMW X 5 luxuries Jeep worth Tk 4 crore from a garage of Siddheswari area in the city.
Tipped off, a team of the department at noon raided a house named Hasib Villa on 15, Siddheswari Road and found the luxurious car hidden in the garage.
It was imported in the name of UK expat Ali Noor Islam, said a press release.
On February 4, 2010 using the Carnet D-passage facility it was cleared from the Chittagong port.
The agency has moved the seized car at its head office and taken legal action according to the customs law.
