Sylhet Correspondent :
The illegal occupants have been asked to vacate by August 13 the establishments at Tarapur Tea estate, an endowment property, which was earlier recovered and handed over to its caretaker following a Supreme Court order.
The local administration in a second-term notice dated August 2 has asked for vacating the establishments that include a medical college hospital, hotels, housing structures and a market within the given time; along with a warning to cut off all the utility connections to those on August 14 otherwise.
The administration had earlier in its first notice asked the occupants to vacate the structures by July 30 and to hand over their possession to the authorities. But despite repeated warnings, the occupants did not pay any heed to those.
This time the local administration has issued another notice in this regard with a fresh deadline for clearing the structures and a new date for action for non-compliance of the order.
