Customs Intelligence officials seized contraband medicines worth Tk 20 lakh at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Saturday.
Tipped off, a team of Customs Intelligence officials launched a drive at air freight section of the airport and recovered 12 cartoons containing the medicines at noon, assistant director of customs intelligence Umme Nahida said.
