Abul Hashem , an elderly man of Aturar depot area under Baizid thana of the city strongly protested the arrest of his son Md. Forkan by Baizid thana police recently with fabricated and fake arrest of warrant . He said the warrant was a fake and there is no similarities with the issue and execution date as well as mentioned case numbers of the warrant. This was disclosed at the press conference as arranged by Md Abul Hashem , father of the detained Md.Forkan at chattogram press club conference hall yesterday morning .Grand son of Md. Hashem , Md. Imran read out the written statement before the press meet on behalf of the Hashem’s family.
The press meet was told that one case of Women & Child Repression act of CoxsBazar district court and another case of Kotwali thana mentioned in the arrest of inwarrant but in fact there is no such case lodged so far with the Kotwali thana and in the case of Cox’s Bazar court , there is none name of Forkan either in plaintiff or dependents.
The written statement was told this warrant is fully a fake and fabricated aimed at harassing the Hasehm’s family to grab the lands so located by one neighbor Saleh Jahoor and his son Sirajul Islam Gang.
The family members of detained Forkan were present in the press meet an d answered to the questions of the journos. They requested the Home minister, Law minister and higher police authority of Police to intervene the matter of arrest with fake warrant and exemplary punishment of the persons so involved with creation of fake warrant.
