A two-day long technical festival titled Tech Fest-2014 of the Inernational Islami University Chittagong will be held from tomorrow arranged by the faculty of Science & Technology.
The programs of the Tech Fest include programming contest, innovative competition, computer games competition, software development competition, project projection competition, poster designing, tech quiz context and debating competition. Besides, seminar, workshop and math olympiad will be arranged .
In the competitions of Tech Fest , about 3000 students from private and public universities will participate. Pro-Vice Chancellor of IIUC Dr. Abu Bakkar Rafique will inaugurate the festival at Kumira IIUC auditorium at 10 am tomorrow as chief guest. Prof. Dr. Kaikobad of BUET will attend the inaugural function as special guest. On concluding day of the festival on December 4 , vice chancellor of IIUC Prof. Dr. AKM Ajharul Islam will grace the function at permanent campus of the university at Kumira as chief guest. Former VC of Prime University and Professor EEE department of KUET Prof. Dr.Md. Abdus Samad will grace the concluding session as guest of honour, a sources of IIUC said.
