Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC) arranged a three -day long orientation and development programme for the teachers, officers and staff of IIUC held at Permanent Campus in Kumira yesterday.
Vice chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. AKM Azharul Islam formally inaugurated the three day long programme as chief Guest and said that there is no alternative to prevent social discrimination in the Society and orientation tightened self development.
Teachers, officials, employees of all status of IIUC participated in the orientation spontaneously university source said.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Md.Delwar Hossain Presided over the Programme while members Board of Trustee Principal Mohammed Taher and professor Department of Bio-logy University of Rajshahi Dr Abul Hasem was present as Special Guest. Dean of Shariah Faculty Prof. Dr.Nazmul Hoque Nadvi, Dean of Business Studies faculty Prof. Dr Abdul hamid Chowdhury, Dean of Science and Engineering Faculty Prof Dr Monirul Islam, Registrar of IIUC Sqardon Leader(Retd) Mohammed Nurul Islam were present among others, Students Affairs Division Director AJM Obaidullah acted as moderator.
