The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) held an informational seminar at DPS STS School Dhaka on Sunday. The seminar was facilitated by the Dhaka Indian High Commission.
The seminar was targeted for students who wish to study in the field of engineering. 100 students from DPS STS School Dhaka attended the seminar, in addition to another 20 students from different schools in Dhaka, such as Rajuk Uttara Model College, Sunnydale, Holy Cross and Notre Dame College. Professors Kishore Chatterjee, Mukesh Sharma, Biplab Mondal and Nalin Bharti conducted the informative and interactive seminar.
The professors explained to the students that IIT has twenty-three institutes in all over India and it is one of the most competitive universities in the world, with IIT Delhi being the 45th top university for engineering in the world.
