Hafizullah, Chief Executive Officer of Karnaphuli Insurance and Md. Imam Shaheen, Chief Executive Officer of Asia Insurance Ltd. have been elected as the President and Secretary General respectively of the Institute of Insurance Executives Bangladesh for the two year terms 2016-2017.
IIEB is the professional’s social organization of high ranking serving and retired executives including Managing Director of insurance companies of Bangladesh. The members of the elected Executive Committee includes Mahamudun Nabi, Md. Mahfuzul Bari Chowdhury, A.Q.M. Wazed Ali, Md. Shamsul Huda, Syed M. Harunur Rashid, Biswajid Kumar Mondol, Md. Anisuzzaman, Mir Nazimuddin Ahmed, Md. Ezhar Hossain, A.K. Momtaz Khan, M.A. Latif Miah, Md. Anwar Hossain, Md. Abdul Khaleque Miah.
The EGM and AGM was held in Dhaka on Saturday which was presided over by Md. M.A. Karim. The name of Bangladesh Insurance Executive Club has been renamed as Institute of Insurance Executives Bangladesh in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting unanimously. The Chief Election Officer Shamsuddin Ahmed aided by two other elections Officer Md. Aliuzzaman Khan and Syed Zaharul Haque conducted the Election process.
