Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Hoque on Friday left Dhaka for the United States of America (USA) to take part in the 123th annual conference of International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), said a release.
The four-day conference is scheduled to commence Sun Diego Convention Centre of California, a western US state, today.
Hoque will exchange views with police chiefs, high government officials and representatives of international agencies of different participating countries to strengthen the mutual relations in curbing the criminal activities.
The IGP is expected to return to Dhaka on October 20, the release added.
