Inspector General (IG) of Prison Iftekhar Uddin has been received death threat from police wanted terror Pichhi Helal.
The IG (Prisons) received a message with the death threat his mobile phone on Wednesday afternoon, said Azizul Haque, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chakbazar Police Station.
A general diary (GD) was filed in this regard in the evening, the police official said. “We will investigation the matter,” he said.
At least 10 cases were filed against Helal in different police stations under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), the OC said.
Earlier, outlawed militant group Ansarullah Bangla Team in a letter has threatened to kill State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.
