Afzalur Rahman was elected new Chairman of Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL) while Rezakul Haider and Kazi Mahbuba Akter elected as Vice-Chairman in its 203rd Board of Directors meeting recently.
KBM Moin Uddin Chisty as Executive Chairman and Professor Dr Gazi Ahsanul Kabir as Chairman of the Audit Committee of the company. Presided over the meeting by newly elected Chairman Afzalur Rahman, Company’s EC Chairman K.B.M Moin Uddin Chisty, Director Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Abul Quasem Haider, Firoz Alam, Managing Director A K M Shahidul Haque, DMD Mohammad Ruknuzzaman, Company Secretary Rezauddin Ahmed were present on the meeting.
Mr Afzalur Rahman is the Director of Youth Spinning Mills Ltd, International Holdings Ltd and Youth Hatchery and Agro Ltd and involved different social welfare activities. Rezakul Haider is the director of Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd.
M/S Comptext (BD) Ltd., M/S Unicom Textile Knit Ltd., M/S Youth Fashion Ltd, M/S Chowdhury Apparels (Pvt.) Ltd, Youth Garments Ltd. and International Holdings Ltd. Mrs. Kazi Mahbuba Akhter is the director of A.J. Fashion Ltd. Lucky Star Apparels Ltd. N.I Design Wear Ltd. Sears Accessories Ltd. Both Rezakul ahider and Kazi Mahbuba Akhter involved in various welfare activities in the society.
