An agreement was signed between IFC and Eastern Bank Limited on project services on Wednesday.
Under this arrangement, capacity of small and medium enterprise clients will be developed while credit risk management will be improved.
Ali Reza Iftekhar, CEO and MD of Eastern Bank Limited and Giri Jadeja, Regional industry head of IFC, Asia, signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisations.
Among others, Inessa Tolokonnikova, Mohammad Rehan Rashid, Ehsanul Azim, Parul Dudeja and Monzurul Huque from IFC and Md Khurshid Alam of EBL were present.
