Islamic Foundation (IF) will hold a function against terrorism and militancy at the south plaza of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 3pm today.
Minister for Religious Affairs Principal Matiur Rahman will preside over the function titled ‘Call of Islam in Prevention of Terrorism and Militancy,’ said a press release of the foundation.
Bangladesh Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, MP will attend the function as chief guest while Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal will be the main speaker.
More than 5,000 khatib-imamas, alem-ulema and pir-mashayekhs will be present at the function.
