Iran “made a very big mistake” in shooting down a US military surveillance drone over the Strait of Hormuz, President Donald Trump says. However, he told reporters it could have been the result of human error, saying that he found it hard to believe it was intentional. Iran said the drone had violated Iranian airspace, but the US military denied this.
The incident comes amid escalating tension between the two countries. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has warned that war between the US and Iran would be a “catastrophe with unpredictable consequences”. In the US, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the US had no appetite for war with Iran, while the leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, Joe Biden, called Mr Trump’s Iran strategy a “self-inflicted disaster”. The Republicans’ leader in the House, Kevin McCarthy,
called for a “measured response” to the incident.
Due in no small measure to the statements made by Vladimir Putin President Trump approved military strikes against Iran in retaliation for downing an American surveillance drone, but pulled back from launching them on Thursday night after a day of escalating tensions. We are sure that there are sensible people in American administration not to have impulsive businessman-president to have his impulsive ways.
We have been expressing our anxiety about the disturbing situation of Muslim hater President Trump in the USA and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu getting friendly that they together will try to start a war in the Middle East accidentally or otherwise.
It is most unfortunate that the American people have elected an unstable president to be in charge of awesome military power. He cannot have the apprehension of a modern warfare and its international ramifications. Although the Muslim countries are divided but in terms of international connections the Middle East is not alone. Other big powers like Russia and China will not be idle onlookers. President Trump has created enemies in every front for the good of the USA. He is not capable to understand the damage any war with Iran will do to the American economy and the lives of American people. No war with Iran will be a limited war to be sure.
Of course Saudi Arabia and Israel are the top enemies of Iran in the region-despite Iran not being an existential threat to either. President Trump is depending on antagonism between Saudi Arabia and Iran and is sure of Saudi government’s cooperation if Iran is attacked.
It is important for the Muslim countries of the Middle East to be aware that if Iran is Trump’s target now, Saudi Arabia will be his next target.
The Muslim countries must remain united against President Trump. He is a Muslim hater and must not be trusted unless he proves otherwise, Israel is another enemy of Muslim countries armed to the teeth by America to be used against the Muslim countries in the Middle East.
