Islamic Foundation (IF) Bangladesh on Wednesday called upon the Imams and people involved with mosque management across the country to pray the Khatme Taraweeh, special prayers at night during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, in an identical manner.
Imams of mosques are urged to recite the first nine chapters (para) of the holy Quran in the first six days of the holy month (one and a half chapters everyday) and the remaining 21 chapters (para) in the next 21 days to complete the Khatme Taraweeh at the night of Shab-e-Qadr (27th Ramadan), said an Islamic Foundation press release on Wednesday, reports BSS.
