Arif Khan has resigned as managing director and chief executive officer of IDLC, the largest non-bank financial institution.
Confirming about his resignation on Monday, Arif Khan told The Business Standard, “I have a plan to start own business.”
Sharing the business plan, Khan said that he would start a new venture on share market related business.
“Now I have capacity to start own business and I don’t want to be CEO of any organisation anymore,” he said, adding, “I resigned for a fresh start.”
Arif Khan spent 20 years of his 30-year career with IDLC and the company was the most profit maker among in the non-bank financial institutions under his leadership.
