IDEB stresses for achieving SDGs

About four lakh diploma engineers have been working for implementing the government’s vision to build a corruption free Bangladesh as well as for attaining Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This was revealed by Engr. AKMA Hamid, President of Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) at a press conference on Sunday at IDEB Bhaban.
IDEB organised the press conference to announce the weeklong programme, which was chalked out for marking its 47th founding anniversary on 8 November and ‘Mass Engineering Day-2016’. General Secretary of IDEB M Shamsur Rahman formally announces the programme. In his written speech Md Shamsur Rahman said that there is no alternative way to achieve SDG without achieving national collective skills.
IDEB will hold a discussion titled “To Build Secure ICT for SDG: Role of Mid-Level Engineers” at its head office and organized rally in the capital and districts.
