Ideal Commerce College, located at Farmgate in the capital, is going to introduce Science Group from this year.
The college authorities has already gotten the approval to admit students under 2019-20 session. They have also appointed teachers to run the new department.
Chairman of Abdul Halim Patwary Foundation Dr M A Halim Patwary said this at a press conference on Friday.
He said the science education is the demand of the time. No nation can improve itself without science education in the era of globalisation.
“We have realized the matter that science education is a must in the today’s world. That is why we are going to introduce the science education in the Ideal Commerce College. I believe that it will be one of the best college in science in the country,” Halim Patwary said.
Member of UCC Group Md Kamal Uddin Patwary and Md Alamgir Hossain, Principal of Ideal Commerce College Md Billal Hossain and Vice Principal of Ideal International School and College Md Abdul Jalil were present at the function, among others.
