Information and Communication Technology specialist Ataur Rahman Shahin working in Bengal group has not been found since Thursday night after leaving his workplace in Tejgaon.
Shahin works also in Akij Group’s ICT section Akij House as a part timer.
Imam Hasan, Sub-Inspector of Tejgaon Police Station, said that a General Diary has been registered in this regard.
“We have checked the close circuit camera footage of Akij House after getting the allegation from Shahin’s family. We found in the footage that a white color microbus with its black window shields has picked Shahin after he came out of the office at 8:30pm.”
The SI said that the car was waiting at the gate of the office building before Shahin’s arrival there.
But the number of the car was not seen in the footage.
Shahin’s relative Manjur Hossain on Friday said that Shahin made a phone call during his departure from office to his wife. He told wife that was coming home at Mirpur. But after two hours at 10pm his wife called him and found his cell phone off.
Shahin’s village home is Gaibandha. He studied at a Bengaluru University, India on ICT.
