University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organized a seminar on “Role of ICT in Sustainable Development Goals: Indian Experience” at the Seminar Room of Business Administration Department on Sunday.
Subimal Bhattacharjee, Noted Indian Defence and Cyber Security Expert addressed the session as keynote speaker while Prof Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, UAP chaired the seminar.
In his remarks, Bhattacharjee discussed important role of ICT played in Indian growing economy.
He said, “Poverty is the biggest obstacle to development. Promoting human resources for any country is the main weapon to achieve sustainable overall development.
Among others, CM Shafi Sami, Former Advisor, Caretaker Government and Member, Board of Trustees (BOT), Anhar A. Chowdhury, Vice Chairperson, BOT, UAP, Prof MR Kabir, Pro Vice Chancellor, heads and some faculty and students were present in the seminar.
