Oxford International School (OIS), a leading English Medium School, is going to hold a three-day ICT fair from Saturday aimed at motivating the new generation towards Information and Communication Technology.
State Minister for Information and Communications Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak will open the 4th National ICT Fair, 2014 on the school’s main campus
on Dhanmondi-27 in the capital at 9.30 am on Saturday, said a press release here yesterday.
Mahbubur Rahman, ICT author and Chairman of System Ltd and Amin U. Sarkar Vice-Chancellor of North South University (NSU) will attend the inaugural ceremony as the special guests.
Besides, Secretary, Information and Communications Technology Division Md. Nazrul Islam Khan will join the closing ceremony of the fair on Monday afternoon as the chief the guest while Communication Consultant of World Bank’s Leveraging ICT for Growth, Empowerment and Governance Ajit Kumar Sarkar as the special guest.
Students from different schools, colleges and universities of both national and international curriculum in the country will participate in different events of the fair.
The events include, ICT Olypiad, Brain Teasers, project showcasing, digital art competition, algorithm contest, general knowledge competition and gaming competitions.
