ICT-BD investigators gather evidence against 3 Netrokona Razakars

The investigation agency of the country’s International Crimes Tribunal (ICT-BD) has found evidence of crimes against humanity against three alleged Razakars from Netrokona, officials said here on Thursday.
Chief coordinator of the agency Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan told a media briefing that all the three belonged to Jamaat-e-Islami, which was opposed to Bangladesh’s 1971 independence and residents of the same village at Atpara upazila of Netrokona.
Khan named the three as Hedayet Ullah alias Anju Bsc, 80, his brother Enayet Ullah alias Monju, 70, and Sohrab Fakir alias Sohrab Ali, 88 and said of them only Sohrab was now in jail awaiting trial.
“In our investigation we have found evidences of crimes like genocide, murder, arson, confinement and torture against the trio,” he said adding that the two brothers still maintained their Jamaat link.
Khan said investigation officer f the agency Mohammad Abdur Rashid today wrapped up the enquiry after four months of investigation pressing six charges against the trio.
