The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the trial of Syed Md Qaiser, charged for committing crimes against humanity during the War of Liberation, till today.The second tribunal deferred the hearing, leaving the cross-examination of the first prosecution witness (PW) incomplete.Kazi Kabiruddin, 72, a valiant freedom fighter fromMadhobpur, Habiganj, started testifying against Qaiser on March 9 and concluded on Monday.In his lengthy deposition, the witness accused Qaiser of committing atrocities in and around Habiganj along with his accomplices from Qaiser Bahini and Pakistani troops. The ICT-2 on February 2, 2014, framed 16 charges of crimes against humanity against the former state-minister for agriculture.
