Accepting a plea from the prosecution, the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 on Tuesday showed two alleged Razakars from Narail arrested.
The two — Abdul Wahab, 70, and Omar Ali Sheikh, 60, — are accused of killing 15 people in Tularampur area and seven more in Pathalia area in Narail in 1971.
“They are now behind bars in Narail Sadar Police Station in two separate cases. For the sake of proper investigation, they should be shown arrested under ICT Act,” said prosecutor Rezia Sultana Chemon.
Justice Anwarul Haque, chairman of the ICT-1, accepted the plea and set May 18 for further order in this regard.
