ICMAB, UIU sign MoA to develop talent pool

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and the United International University (UIU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on Sunday to develop the talent pool to serve the economy of the country.
The MoA was signed by Vice-Chancellor of UIU Prof Dr. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman and President of ICMAB Mohammed Salim on behalf of their respective organizations on the permanent campus of UIU.High-level officials from both the organizations were present at the signing ceremony, said a press release.
Under this MoA, both the organizations will work to develop the talent pool to serve the economy of the country. Students of ICMAB (admitted through intermediate entry route) can avail the opportunity of under-graduate degree (BBA in AIS) from UIU with less cost and time while they are continuing their professional studies with ICMAB.
The release said ICMAB members can also get MBA degree from UIU as per the accelerated route as agreed upon. Both the organizations can hold seminars, conferences and workshops jointly.
Faculty exchange program under the MoA will improve the quality of class room delivery where students of both the organizations will be benefited from the blending of academics and professionals.
