The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organised a two-day long SAFA International Conference-2015 with the theme “Financial Reforms to Boost Industry and Service Sectors” form October 18 at a city hotel.
Addressing as the chief guest, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu inaugurated the conference. The National Industrial Policy-2015 will focus on facilitating and expediting investment from overseas, with putting due emphasis on accelerating local investment, said the minister.
“We are continuously updating our fiscal and industrial policies and providing certain fiscal and tax incentives to the private sector. The upcoming industrial policy will also put special emphasis on both local and foreign investors to help them run their businesses smoothly,” he said.
