Hot favourites India and challengers Sri Lanka will lock horn today (Sunday) in the gala final of the ICC World Twenty20 Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The title-deciding match starts at 7.00 pm BST (Bangladesh Standard Time).Bangladesh Television, private satellite channels Maasranga Television and G TV will telecast the match live from the stadium.Unbeaten India reached the final defeating South Africa by six wickets in the second semifinal at the same venue on April 4.On the other hand, Sri Lanka moved into the final beating West Indies by 27 runs in the first semifinal on April 3.India emerged the Group 2 champions with maximum eight points from four matches while Sri Lanka, their opponents became Group 1 champions earning six points from four matches.India on way to semifinal, defeated Pakistan by seven wickets, thrashed Australia by 73 runs, overpowered West Indies by seven wickets, beat Bangladesh by six wickets.Sri Lanka on way to semifinal, edged past South Africa by five runs, crushed Netherlands by nine wickets, overcame New Zealand by 59 runs and lost to England by six wickets.
