A Workshop on “International Trade Finance, ADR, Logistics and Business Development” is scheduled to be holding on 21-23 April 2016 mainly for the Bangladeshi banks, according to a press release.
International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – Bangladesh and The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VCCI) are jointly organizing the workshop.
As many as 88 bankers from 21 Banks including Bangladesh Bank and 20 commercial banks along with members from Energy Ministry, Petro Bangla, NBR, Bangladesh Navy & Law Firm are scheduled to join the workshop.
Some 80 bankers and businesses of Vietnam will also participate at the workshop together with Bangladeshi participants.
The main objective of the Workshop is to allow the Bangladeshi bankers to interact with their counterparts in Vietnam and to understand international trade finance scenario as well as ICC rules & tools based on real life cases and guide them to undertake secure and successful international trade and finance as well as to avoid risks in cross-border transactions.
The workshop will also help the bankers in understanding the new provisions and how the changes impact users with the confidence and legal certainty to trade in unfamiliar markets and save both time and money.
