ICB AMCL Islamic Mutual Fund converted to open-end scheme

A special meeting of the unitholders of ICB AMCL Islamic Mutual Fund, managed by ICB Asset Management Company Limited regarding its conversion to an open-end scheme, on expiration of its 10(ten) years maturity on 28 December 2014 was held at a city hotel recently, in accordance with respective rules of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
Prof Dr Mojib Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Investment Corporation of Banglade4sh (ICB) was present as chief guest while Md Fayekuzzaman, Managing Director of ICB presided over the meeting.
The members of the Trustee Committee and a good number of unitholders were present on the occasion. A concept paper was presented in this connection. More than three-fold majority of the unitholders cast their votes favouring conversion of the ICB AMCL Islamic Mutual Fund from a close -end scheme to an open-end scheme.
Chairman Prof Dr Mojib Uddin Ahmed and Managing Director Md Fayekuzzaman of ICB thank all the stakeholders for their unflinching support and cooperation in the process of conversion of the fund.
